Slow Cooker Country Style Ribs Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Ribs:
- 3 lbs country-style pork ribs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Directions:
1. Season the Ribs:
In a large bowl, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub this seasoning mix thoroughly over the ribs.
2. Prepare the Slow Cooker:
In the base of the slow cooker, whisk together the barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, chicken broth, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce.
3. Cook the Ribs:
Place the seasoned ribs in the slow cooker, turning to coat them evenly with the sauce. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the ribs are tender and fully cooked.
4. Serve:
Serve the ribs hot, generously covered with the remaining sauce from the slow cooker. These ribs pair perfectly with sides like coleslaw, cornbread, or mashed potatoes.
