Savory Hamburger Steaks in Rich Onion Gravy
Ingredients:
- 500g of ground beef
- 2 medium-sized eggs
- 2 tablespoons of bread crumbs
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
- 2 small onions, sliced
- 2 and 1/2 cups of beef broth
- 2 tablespoons of flour
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the Hamburger Steaks
Combine the ground beef, eggs, bread crumbs, onion powder, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper in a mixing bowl. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
Step 2: Shape and Fry the Steaks
Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape them into patties. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the patties until browned on both sides, then transfer to a plate and keep warm.
