Hamburger Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 (1 lb) box of medium pasta shells
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 (10 oz) cans of tomato soup
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup water
- Garlic, salt, and pepper to taste

Prepare the Pasta:
Cook the pasta shells according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain and set aside. -
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish. -
Cook the Beef:
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it into crumbles. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, or any preferred seasonings. -
Combine Ingredients:
To the skillet with the browned beef, add the cooked pasta, tomato soup, water, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Stir well and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to combine the flavors. -
Assemble the Casserole:
Transfer the beef and pasta mixture into the greased baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese and the mozzarella cheese evenly over the top. -
Bake:
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes. For a nicely browned top, you can turn on the broiler for the last 2-3 minutes of baking. -
Serve:
Serve the casserole immediately. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
