Delicious Quiche Recipe
When I made this recipe, my kids asked for seconds. This quiche is definitely going to become a staple in our household.
Ingredients
- 1 nine-inch pie crust (homemade or store-bought)
- 3 large eggs
- 0.5 cups of heavy cream
- 1/3 cup full-fat milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup grated Gruyere cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Line a 9-inch pie plate with the pie crust. Poke the bottom with a fork and trim the edges if necessary. Bake the crust for 8 to 10 minutes, or until it turns a light golden color. Remove from the oven and set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, full-fat milk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg until well combined.
- Stir in the grated Gruyere, Parmesan, and cheddar cheeses until evenly distributed.
- Pour the egg mixture into the pre-baked pie crust.
- Bake the quiche for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top begins to turn a slight golden color.
- Remove the quiche from the oven and let it cool for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
