Delicious Quiche Recipe

When I made this recipe, my kids asked for seconds. This quiche is definitely going to become a staple in our household.

Ingredients

  • 1 nine-inch pie crust (homemade or store-bought)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 0.5 cups of heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup full-fat milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup grated Gruyere cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Line a 9-inch pie plate with the pie crust. Poke the bottom with a fork and trim the edges if necessary. Bake the crust for 8 to 10 minutes, or until it turns a light golden color. Remove from the oven and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, full-fat milk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg until well combined.
  4. Stir in the grated Gruyere, Parmesan, and cheddar cheeses until evenly distributed.
  5. Pour the egg mixture into the pre-baked pie crust.
  6. Bake the quiche for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top begins to turn a slight golden color.
  7. Remove the quiche from the oven and let it cool for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
