Perfect Beef Roast Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Small carrots
  • 1 potato, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons Creole seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon celery flakes
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 1 cup water

Instructions:

  1. Preparation: Chop the potatoes and carrots into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Seasoning and Searing: Season the beef generously with the Creole seasoning, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, celery flakes, and parsley. Sauté the seasoned beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned on all sides.
  3. Baking: Transfer the beef to a casserole dish. Add 1 cup of water to the dish, sprinkle additional Creole seasoning to taste, and cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil.
  4. Roasting: Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 2.5 hours.
  5. Adding Vegetables: Remove the foil and add the chopped carrots and potatoes to the casserole dish. Return the dish to the oven and bake uncovered for an additional 30 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender and the beef is fully cooked.
  6. Serving: Let the roast rest for a few minutes before serving to allow the juices to redistribute. Enjoy your perfectly roasted beef with tender vegetables!
