Banana Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup butter
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 ⅓ cups mashed overripe bananas
Preparation:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate large bowl, use an electric mixer to beat together the brown sugar and butter until smooth. Add the beaten eggs and mashed bananas, mixing until well combined.
- Gradually fold the banana mixture into the flour mixture, stirring until just blended. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
