Banana Bread Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup butter
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 ⅓ cups mashed overripe bananas

Preparation:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate large bowl, use an electric mixer to beat together the brown sugar and butter until smooth. Add the beaten eggs and mashed bananas, mixing until well combined.
  4. Gradually fold the banana mixture into the flour mixture, stirring until just blended. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean.
  6. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
