Philly Cheese Steak Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ lb. Ground beef
- 2 Bell peppers, chopped
- ½ Onion, chopped
- 2 tsp. Minced garlic
- 1 tsp. Seasoned salt
- 8 Slices of provolone cheese
- 4 Large eggs
- ¼ cup Heavy whipping cream
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, begin browning the ground beef.
- When the beef is partially cooked, add the chopped onions and bell peppers. Continue to cook until the beef is fully browned and the vegetables are starting to soften.
- Stir in the seasoned salt and minced garlic, sautéing for an additional 30 seconds. Drain any excess grease from the skillet.
- Spread the beef mixture evenly in the bottom of a well-greased 9×9-inch baking dish.
- Place the slices of provolone cheese over the beef mixture.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the heavy whipping cream, Worcestershire sauce, and eggs. Pour this mixture evenly over the beef and cheese in the baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the casserole is fully cooked and set.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
