Delicious Pepper Steak Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 pound boneless beef round steak, trimmed of fat
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can stewed tomatoes, undrained
- 3 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 yellow pepper, chopped
- 1 orange pepper, chopped
Instructions:
- Cut the beef round steak into four pieces and season each piece with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Brown the steak on both sides until nicely seared.
- Transfer the browned steak pieces to a slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix together the undrained stewed tomatoes, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour this mixture over the steak in the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the chopped green, yellow, and orange peppers over the steak and sauce.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6 hours, allowing the flavors to meld together.
