Cheesecake Crescent Rolls Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar for topping
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
  2. Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the dish, sealing any seams.
  3. In a medium bowl, blend the cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Spread this mixture evenly over the dough layer in the dish.
  4. Unroll the second can of dough and lay it over the cream cheese mixture, making sure to seal the edges.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter over the top dough layer. In a small bowl, combine 1/4 cup of sugar and the cinnamon, then sprinkle this mixture evenly over the butter.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown. Allow it to cool slightly before serving.
