Ingredients:

  • 4 cups fresh watermelon, cubed and seeds removed
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Watermelon:

Cut the watermelon into cubes, ensuring all seeds are removed. Place the cubed watermelon into a large mixing bowl.

  2. Puree the Watermelon:

Use an immersion blender to blend the watermelon cubes until smooth. If you don’t have an immersion blender, a regular blender will work just as well.

  3. Mix with Sweetened Condensed Milk:

Pour the sweetened condensed milk into the pureed watermelon. Add the vanilla extract and whisk until the mixture is well combined.

  4. Add Chocolate Chips:

Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips until they are evenly distributed throughout the mixture.

  5. Freeze the Mixture:

Transfer the mixture into a loaf pan or any freezer-safe container, spreading it evenly. Cover the container with plastic wrap or an airtight lid.

  6. Freeze until Firm:

Place the container in the freezer and let it freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until the ice cream is firm. For best results, freeze overnight.

  7. Serve:

Once frozen, scoop the watermelon ice cream into bowls or cones and serve immediately. For an extra touch, garnish with additional chocolate chips if desired.

Enjoy your homemade Watermelon Ice Cream with Chocolate Chips, a perfect refreshing treat for a hot summer day!
