Mushroom Garlic Parmesan

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 8 garlic cloves, minced
  • 8 ounces whole bella mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Preparation

  1. Rinse and clean the mushrooms, then pat them dry.
  2. In a skillet, melt the butter and olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the mushrooms and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the minced garlic, heavy cream, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, onion powder, and dried thyme. Cook for an additional 5-10 minutes until the sauce thickens and becomes creamy.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
