Cajun Butter Steak Bites

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 pounds sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon freshly chopped parsley
  • Juice of half a lemon

Directions:

  1. In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Coat the steak cubes evenly with the spice mixture.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Arrange the steak cubes in a single layer in the skillet. Sear for approximately 2-3 minutes on each side until a crust forms.
  5. Reduce the heat to medium, then add the butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Stir frequently, cooking until the garlic is fragrant and the steak is coated in melted butter, about 1-2 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and drizzle with lemon juice.
